Our Story
For nearly 200 years, Cherokee County has been a place for fresh starts. Settlers once came to dig for gold, sparking a thriving mining and milling industry that was on the grind for years to come. During the Great Depression and World War II, poultry farming started to hatch, earning us the title “Poultry Capital of the World.”
That same entrepreneurial spirit drives us today. Though our original name was Fresh Start Cherokee, we’re honoring the past while looking toward the future. We are passionate about supporting startups and fostering innovation. If you’re ready to dig in, grind it out, and hatch something great, there’s no better place to start than right here.
